A short term course on public speaking is helpful but not as effective as a toastmasters membership.
The Toastmasters formula has been developed in the early 19’s. Toastmasters is nowadays a well known organization all over the world with over 11.000 clubs and 200.000 active members and thousands others who have been a member of Toastmasters in the past.
Come and join us. The toastmasters meetings are fun and educational.
Membership is open to anyone at least 18 years of age with a reasonable command of the Club’s language (either English or Dutch). After attending a few meetings, you can apply to join the club. The Toastmasters organization has a special formula (Gavel club) for members under 18. If there is enough interest we could start with a Gavel club too here in The Netherlands.
I want to encourage you to visit one of the Toastmasters club in The Netherlands or anywhere in the world. I guarantee you……. you will experience all I have described above.
